On 24th August 2016 we celebrated pHd’s fifth birthday!
It’s hard to believe that we have achieved so much in just five years.
In 2011 Claire Gilbraith opened the doors to her all organic hair salon. The welcome was so warm and enthusiastic that it wasn’t long before Pure Beauty was launched.
From these humble beginnings, we’ve gone from strength to strength. Guided by Claire’s passion for organic hair and beauty the salon has grown steadily. We now employ four senior stylists and an apprentice along with two beauticians. A far cry from the one-woman project we were in 2011.
In fact, we now cater for clients from far and wide, and have recently refitted the hair salon, increasing to eight stations, to ensure that we can continue to cater to our growing client base.

Our love of everything organic is no secret and we’re at the forefront of this growing industry. We are thrilled by the enthusiasm with which organic hair and beauty has been received by our local community.
We are always learning new techniques and expanding our skill set so that we can offer you the latest hair and beauty treatments, organically, without damaging the environment or your skin.
